Welcome to the "Joy of Horses". We have enjoyed compiling this first edition and hope very much that you will find plenty of interest.

Although UK based, we wish to attract participation from horse lovers the world over, so if there is something of particular interest to you, wherever you are, please let us know!

We would like you to get to know our regular contributors and have purposely included their contact details as they are all available for commissioned work and would no doubt be delighted to hear from you. We are confident that "The Joy of Horses" is the first UK based Internet magazine to cover the whole spectrum of equine related topics - in fact we can't find anything else quite like it on the Internet!

Our breadth of subject matter is certain to expand on an ongoing basis and we have tried to find a formula that really works in this marvellous medium which now gives us the opportunity to share our experience, knowledge and love of horses on a global basis. It seems like too good an opportunity to miss and we hope that you will support us in our new venture by spreading the word about "The Joy of Horses".

We are delighted to have been awarded the Mining Co. Guide to Horses "Best of the Net" Award for May. We are only the second publication ever to receive this. The text read "It certainly does portray the Joy of Horses. The layout is fast- loading and easy to navigate and there is something of interest for everyone. This award cannot be applied for and I only give it to those sites that I think are truly outstanding".
